There are ongoing problems with parking and cut through traffic throughout our neighbourhood and I’d like to thank everyone who has contacted me about their issues.

A couple of things have been achieved. A tonneage limit for Bevington Road and for Main Avenue Frewville has been posted. This means that large trucks are now no longer able to use these roads as a cut through to make supermarket deliveries. The installation of a no right turn on the Bevington and Portrush intersection is being investigated, as well as a similar restriction during drop off and pick up times at the Queen Street and L’Estrange Street intersection. New yellow lines are due to be painted on Bevington Road and I have asked that particular attention be paid to safe passage out of driveways and the supermarket car park. Parked cars obstruct the line of sight for many motorists.
